Buying Souvenirs
2017年8月21日 (月)
The Step Up summer holiday is coming soon. I’m looking forward to my trip back to Canada. It’s been three years since I last went back to my hometown, so I’m sure many things have changed and everyone has grown a little older. The problem I always have when I go back to my hometown is what souvenirs to buy everyone. I have a very big family, so if I were to buy souvenirs for each person, the number would be more than 20. So I usually buy a lot of small things and also a lot of Japanese snacks. Of course Japanese traditional crafts and alcohol are also good souvenirs, however, they are difficult to take home and a little expensive. If you are going overseas and are unsure what to buy as souvenirs for people, I recommend senbei (rice crackers). Senbei is delicious, light and everyone likes it! That’s what I will take home when I go back to Canada this summer!
