Early Spring?

Recently I received some plum blossom branches from a friend of mine.  You’re supposed to put them in water and then the plum buds will blossom.  So that is exactly what I did.  I put them in a big jar of water and then displayed them on the shelf.  After only a couple of days the flower buds got bigger and one of the buds even blossomed!  I’m sure that in a couple of days, my plum branches will be full of pretty, white plum blossoms.  What an interesting gift.  It’s like an early spring in my living room!
