Herb Garden
2017年6月19日 (月)
Hello everyone! I want to talk about gardening again. I do not have a green finger and my colleagues have been so lovely in helping me out about gardening. I didn’t know the difference between Rosemary and Sage. I wondered to myself how does everyone else know this? I grew up in England surrounded by beautiful gardens and amazing nature, how have I lived this long without knowledge of herb gardens. It made me a little sad, I guess. When I was a child, my parents didn’t really use fresh herbs in their dishes. I actually didn’t know anyone who had a herb garden. A rose garden? They were everywhere but herbs, nothing. It makes me sad that recently some British people actually don’t use that many fresh ingredients in their cooking. I read an article that stated a lot British people relied on convenient, precooked, frozen meals from the supermarket (they are much cheaper and quicker than buying fresh ingredients) however I want to cook with only fresh ingredients so this weekend I am going to work on my herb garden. If I make something impressive, I`ll show you guys a photo in a couple of weeks. Wish me luck!!!!
