The Royal Succession

Another wedding, Trump embarrassing himself in front of the her, the BBC practicing for the royal funeral, just how much longer can the old girl hang on in there. Over 90 but still looking sharp and in control, the Queen seems to be holding up well, her mother of course made it past the full century mark. But people are beginning to mutter, and it may well be that the time is coming for a succession to the throne. If so, the big question is will Charles accept that the British public do not want him as king. Everyone is thinking it, and it will be interesting to see if he takes the crown, what exactly the public reaction will be. I hope he sees sense and passes it to his son who is generally well loved by the British public, but I have a feeling he may be a little too bloody minded.
