Fiddly things, I am all fingers and thumbs!

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? I hope you are warm and cozy. Today I bought a new screen protector for my phone and I discovered that I am completely hopeless at putting the cover on! I actually ended up buying 3 covers because my cover had too many bubbles in. The other teachers are really good at applying the cover, I wonder why I am so bad. If you throw a ball at me, I can catch it most times and I can throw it back equally well with my left or right hand…. yet I can apply a piece of plastic to my phone. In British English we have an expression “to be all fingers and thumbs” or “sausage fingers” (the latter isn’t so polite!). It means someone who isn’t particularly good at doing delicate things with their hands. How about you? Are you clumsy with your hands?
