A picture speaks a thousand words?

Hey everyone. So today I have been thinking about pictures and photographs.  I would say that I was quite artistic and enjoy painting so for my friends birthday later this month I have been thinking should I paint her something? I always wonder about handmade gifts, they can be quite hit or miss. For example, I once painted a pop art fish for my friend, she didn’t like it so much, so I ended up repainting her a more classic interpretation of a fish. While I didn’t particularly like the painting, she adored it and it is still hanging in her living room.  Taste is such a difficult thing to predict. Christmas is coming soon and I wonder if anyone will make a personalized present or even personalized post cards? I think it is awesome when people do that, it is so fresh and unique.
