Huis Ten Bosch

2017年12月11日 (月)

I love theme parks.  When you enter a theme park, it’s like entering an entirely different world.  It’s a world where there is no discrimination, no confrontation and no animosity.  Theme parks are always fun, exciting and happy places.

Last week I went to Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park in Kyushu, modeled after a Dutch town (from the Netherlands).  Before going there I didn’t have a lot of high expectations for the place.  I knew little about it and thought it was just place to look at beautiful buildings and go around souvenir shops.  However, Huis Ten Bosch really exceeded my expectations.  Not only was the park extremely large, but it also offered a variety of attractions both for the young and the old.  It was beautiful, clean and well taken care of.  The gardens were amazing and even more beautiful in the evening with all the stunning lights.  There were many shops, restaurants and cafes.  It was just an amazing place!

So from the time I entered Huis Ten Bosch to the time I left the delightful theme park, I felt like I was transported into another world of peace and tranquility.  I highly recommend this place to anyone who wishes to enjoy “another world” without the crowds of Tokyo Disneyland!
