Monty Python and the Holy Grail

If you are English you will undoubtedly have seen this while growing up. An absolute British classic of surreal eccentric humour following the exploits of a group of King Aurthur’s knights looking for the Holy Grail. Don’t expect much to make sense in the movie as it parodies everything from biblical history to Errol Flynn. It was groundbreaking for its time because the team who made it took comedy from being simple jokes on a stage to sketch based comedy involving acting. Still extremely silly to watch, but one of my favorite movies, and one which has spawned a thousand quotes.

Highly recommended if you are feeling down.
