Winter Is Around The Corner!

The temperature is dropping.  The leaves are all falling from the trees.  The days are getting shorter.  Yes, winter is “just around the corner” (this means that it is coming soon).  It’s time to change your car tires and take out your winter clothes.  We must prepare for the long winter ahead.

Although there are many things that I don’t like about winter, there are also some really great things about winter.  One thing I like about winter is the winter scenery.  The clean, white snow is very beautiful as it covers the trees, roofs and yards.  I also love nabe (or a Japanese hot-pot).  In the winter I often eat Japanese hot-pots.  And of course, I love Christmas.  So winter is not all bad!
