Snowboarding in Sahoro
2006年3月25日 (土)
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Recently I took a long weekend trip to Sahoro to go snowboarding. The countryside around there was very nice and the views were beautiful, but unfortunately it didnt snow! Nevermind-we enjoyed the views, karaoke and onsens anyway. I hope I will be able to go snowboarding a few more times before all the snow melts. See you soon, bye for now.
Winter`s returned!
2006年3月22日 (水)
Hi everyone! This is my first diary entry for Stepup, which is exciting! I`m having a great time in Sapporo, enjoying the great food and scenery. Sapporo is a great city to live in- so much to do and see. I`m looking forward to springtime and hiking in the mountains nearby. However, recently winter has returned and it`s been snowing a lot! I may have to wear my?@Wellington boots for a little longer…
Study time!
2006年3月8日 (水)
Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the winter. It has been warm recently-it feels as though spring is coming! I have been very busy studying Japanese recently. I really want to improve this year so wish me luck. Learning all the Chinese characters is very difficult but very interesting. Maybe you can help me!!
Be Careful on the Slopes!
2006年2月17日 (金)
Hi everyone! How was your week? My week was good and bad. The good news is that my fiance and I finally decided on a wedding date and venue. We are going to be married in March 2007 in Melbourne, Australia. I am getting very excited. The bad news is that I had a snowboarding accident and bruised my tailbone. Sitting down and bending over has been a real challenge – ouch! So if you like winter sports, please be careful on the slopes…
Niseko Adventure
2006年2月11日 (土)
Hi everyone! Last weekend, I went to Niseko with my friend Joanne from Australia. As you know, there are many Australians in Niseko so we felt right at home. Did you know that you can buy Vegemite, a famous Australian spread, at convenience stores in Niseko? The snow at Hirafu was lovely and soft and the onsens were very relaxing. I even tried Kani Ramen – it was delicious!
