I Love Spring!!

Hi guys!! What beautiful, warm weather we’ve been having! I really love Sapporo in the Spring. Last weekend I went to Hanami at Maryuyama Koen. The cherry blossoms were very beautiful. I even saw some people singing Karaoke!! Did you go to Hanami too??

Yeah! Summer has finally come and after almost four years I got to have my first hanami. It was a lot of fun. Tons of people, a few good friends, a BBQ and plenty of refreshments kept everyone cheerfult through a wonderful sunny afternoon. I think most of us forgot to even look at the flowers, but we had a great vantage point. I can’t wait to see how this summer will pan out!

Hi everyone, I hope you had a great Golden Week and are enjoying the cherry blossoms as Sapporo springs into bloom. This weekend I will go to my friends wedding. I am very excited because it is my first wedding in Japan. It will be interesting to see how it is different to a wedding in England, and I am looking forward to eating lots of good food! I hope the weather is nice for the bride and groom. Keep your fingers crossed for sunshine!

Hi everyone! How was your Golden Week? Did you go anywhere exciting or did you stay in Sapporo? For my Golden Week, I went snowboarding at Kokusai and Niseko. The sun was shining and the sky was blue – delightful. After snowboarding, I enjoyed a long and relaxing onsen. Today I noticed cherry blossoms for the first time in the park near my apartment. They really are very beautiful. Next weekend, I’m going to a Hanami party – fun, fun, fun! I hope you’re enjoying the Spring too!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all looking forward to Spring and Golden Week. The weather has got much warmer and it wont be long before we can enjoy evenings in the park and barbeques by the river. I recently bought a car so I am looking forward to taking lots of trips around Hokkaido this summer-camping and climbing mountains. It is a very old car, but it has 4 wheels and a roof so its good enough for me!
