Like Hayden, I’ve noticed that weather is getting warmer in Sapporo. Unlike Hayden, I won’t be snowboarding in the rain!! Now that the snow has melted, I’m thinking about riding my bicycle again. This afternoon I plan to put some air in my tyres and coat my chain with some oil. Riding is very convenient and good exercise. Do you ride a bicycle?

Well, it looks like Spring is here. The flurries of winter have given way to the showers of spring. How will you spend your rainy days? I am stubborn, so I will continue to snowboard, even in the rain. I’ll get soaking wet, but I will love it. Most of my evenings will be spent in front of the heater trying to warm my toes back to life.

hey everyone, how was the weekend? I stayed home this weekend and chilled out. I was a little poorly so i stayed in bed and watched movies. Bridget Jones always makes me feel better and it reminds me of Britain. I miss England this time of year because it was mothers day 2 weeks ago. Summer is just around the corner, then i can walk my dog and enjoy lazy days in the park with him. I cant wait!

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend. It`s great to see the snow finally melting- I`d almost forgotten what it`s like to walk safely around town! Recently I`ve started practicing Japanese again, and am trying to learn some kanji. Kanji are really quite difficult, especially when writing them. Plus, they all seem to have lots of different readings. Do you have any tips as to how to remember them easily? If you do, please tell me!

You can feel it in the air, the snow is starting to melt and Spring is on it’s way. Spring is one of my favourite seasons in Sapporo. The sunshine is so up-lifting and you don’t have to wear so many layers! I also love snowboarding in the Spring as the snow is nice and soft. I am going to Tokyo at the end of this month. I wonder if the cherry blossoms will be out…
