Sunny Days
2007年4月17日 (火)
Hi everyone! What glorious weather we’re having? I can feel that Spring is just around the corner. It won’t be long before Sapporo’s parks are filled with people enjoying the fleeting cherry blossom. Last weekend I went snowboarding at Kokusai. This is almost my favorite time of the year to ride because the snow is oft and the sun shines. How have you been spending your time lately?
Back in Sapporo
2007年4月11日 (水)
Hi everyone! I’m back in Sapporo after three and a half weeks in Australia and it’s quite a relief! No more wedding planning! My husband Ben and I had a wonderful wedding with guests from Australia, England and Japan. The weather was fine and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves a lot. Now I’m looking forward to Spring in Sapporo and a normal life. How was your March? Let’s talk about it the next time you come to Step Up.
Horror Movies
2007年4月9日 (月)
Recently, I have had my friends come over to my house to watch movies that one of us love, such as Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. Last Night, my friend Danny chose The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for us to watch! Have you ever seen this movie? It was made in 1974, and is violent even compared to movies made nowadays. If you like old school flicks with tons of screams and chainsaw noises, I highly recommmend it for you, but beware, it’s not for the squimish.
My Holiday
2007年4月5日 (木)
Wow! I jusyt had an amazing whirlwind holiday in Melbourne. It was five days of incredible food, super talkative locals, sunny weather, and more walking than most could handle. To top it off, I got to see two of my best friends get married in an absolutely wonderful ceremony. Feeling a high from such a wonderful vacation, I wore my shorts off of the plane and had to walk home, while it was snowing with bare legs. Next time I am going to pack jeans in my carry on luggage.
Spring
2007年3月26日 (月)
I think it’s now official, Spring has sprung. After waking up to dismal clouds and rainy skies yesterday, mothernature played her part, and the afternoon was beautiful and sunny. I spent all afternoon at Teine Ski resort snowboarding in warm slushy conditions. It was great and I’m really going to miss the snow. I’m off to Australia in two days for Ben and Michaela’s wedding. It feels kind of strange to think that they will be married, but in fact absolutely nothing will be different except fopr Michaela will have to get a new passport and Gaijin card!
