Quiz Night
2007年2月13日 (火)
Have you ever been to a quiz night? I went to my first one on Sunday night. It wa so much fun. There were five teams, each with four or five members. The organizer of the event stood at the front of the room, and asked us all questions from different categories such as Film and Sports. All in all, I think there were 50 questions. I was on a team with Michaela and my good friends Rufus, Danny and Ben, and we won! Actually, I think Ben and Danny won, the rest of us just enjoyed the beer, and the company. I can’t wait for the next quiz night!
Guess who I met!
2007年2月6日 (火)
Hi everyone, I had a very interesting and exciting experience last Monday. I met the actor Jinnai Takanori! How? Why? Where? Well, my friend organised for me to be an extra in a movie being made right now in Sapporo. Takanori is the movie’s director. I only had a very small part but I was able to meet him and the crew and to see how movies are made in Japan. Have you ever met a movie star?
Time to get fit...
2007年2月5日 (月)
Well, the new year is well and truely underway, and it`s time to get fit I think. Over the Christmas period I ate far too much food, and have put on some weight. So one of my new year resolutions is to exercise more and eat more healthily. I may even try natto! Also, I think I`ll start walking to work instead of taking the subway. Wish me luck!
Rabbits

Hey there everyone. It’s still snowing, and I’m still really excited about it. Today I went snowboarding at Teine Highland with my friends Ben and Justin. When we did one of our favorite runs we saw a Snow Hare. It was so big, and really graceful when moving on the snow. Have you seen any wild animals recently?
Let it snow!
2007年1月23日 (火)
Wow! I’m sitting here in the office watching buckets of snow fall from the sky. It’s amazingly heavy! We have a saying in English – when it rains it pours. We use this saying when a lot of something comes to us after waiting a long time. I think we could use this saying to describe the season. After a long wait, it’s finally snowing like a true Sapporo winter…and I am happy because I enjoy snowboarding 😉
