Shoppping spree time!

Hey everyone. Christmas is coming, so I finally have a valid reason to spend all my free time SHOPPING!! I love Christmas and buying presents for everyone. This year Im lucky because I can do Christmas shopping in England, Paris and Japan. Im like a child at Christmas, singing Christmas carols, eating chocolates and making festive drinks. I love mulled wine, yummy yummy yummy!! Not so sure about eggnog even though its a Christmas tradition, I think it`s just wrong. Anyway hope everyone is enjoying the festive season.

Hey everyone! Hope you`re all wrapped up warm. I love this time of year, just before christmas. I always feel inspired to try something new. After a year of trying masculine things, I`ve decided to focus on more feminine crafts. So this month I`m going to try and knit a scarf, in theory this is easy to do, but in practice I`m hopeless. Well anyway I`ll let you know how I get on! Enjoy the snow xx

Hi everyone! Hope you all are well. The temperature has been slowly dropping and by next week we should have some snow on the ground. I`m really looking forward to spending my winter days outside on the mountains, slipping and sliding around in the woods. Just recently I bought a season pass that I can use at Teine, Rusutsu, Sahoro, Mt. Racy, and Nakayama Ski Park. So tomorrow I`m heading out to Nakayama to start making use of this fairly expensive pass. I want to use it at least 50 times this year. Do you like snowboarding or skiing? If so, maybe I`ll see you on the slopes;)

Hey everyone! Today Im feeling permaturely festive. I went to the 100 yen shop and saw some christmas decorations (its VERY early for xmas decorations!!!). Im going home for christmas, with a brief stop in the city of romance, PARIS. I love Paris especially at Christmas. There is a certain magic about Paris, I always feel I can achieve my dreams when I go there. So I have put down my Japanese textbooks and picked up my French ones. Au revoir everyone

Octoberfest

Hey everyone! Yesterday I ran my first 10k race in the Sapporo Marathon. It was both exhausting and exhilirating at once. Out of 412 people in my class, i came in 110th with a time of about 48:20 – not as good as I had hoped for, but not bad for my first attempt. After the race I was interviewed by a camera crew, possibly from one of Sapporo`s universities. I`m not sure… Anyhow, I`ve decided I`m going to try next year`s half marathon so I`ve got to start training now. That said, I`ll leave you with the immortal words of the great country music maverick Hank Williams – AMBUGATON!! (Translates to ganbatte, or whatever you like, really;)
